you tube layout changes

I found there is a small changes in the youtube video previews which will be there right to the main video. It looks they increased the size of the preview videos. But my friends are telling, this has been updated long back. so i just wanted to know, is it a new change or old one. And is there anyway to find the update logs of popular websites like Youtube, Facebook, Twitter etc..,
