Which name should a basic software license be given without confusing buyers and attracting to buy a higher license
Which name should a basic software license be given without confusing buyers and attracting to buy a higher license
I wonder what a good name "add-on" would be for a software license that includes basic functions.
This "name add-on" should imply that the basic functions are included. Also, it should not frighten a possible buyer to not get what they need and thus scare them off.
Let's call this software "Supersoftware".
I was thinking about either
Supersoftware (without any name add-on)
Supersoftware - Base -
Supersoftware - Basic -
Supersoftware "Base"
Supersoftware "Basic"
The higher version which includes special features would be named
Supersoftware Deluxe
Supersoftware Ultimate
I'm also afraid that if the lower license is called "Supersoftware" without any name extension might drive people off from buying a higher license.
Which naming should / could be preferred (or what do you think is best?) in order to make those feel comfortable who want to spend as little money as possible and still make people who want to be on the safe side and also get all special features attract them to buy the more expensive license.
