What is the type of graph called in the chrome network inspector?

First time asking a question in this SE. Hope my formatting is ok. feel free to point out any misuse of question asking.

For a project, I have to come up with a dashboard-like UX. I'm currently researching for opportunities and several elements, and I'm boggling my head over identifying the type of UI elements used in the chrome developer tools (which is sort of kind of what I am looking for). Does anyone know what this kind of UI is called? To be more descriptive;

It is a time chart that displays certain events occured during a process. The user is capable of inspecting events in a 'chunk' of this time by selecting a part of the time view.

I would like to know if this pattern has a name, or if there are sort-a-like interactions being described somewhere to dig into and learn more about these kind of complex behaviors.
