What is the best practice for colorizing text Links, icon links, & buttons on the same page?
Link colors are a very comprehensively studied topic. However, I've been completely unable to find anything conclusive regarding the inclusion of icon links in the mix.
When designing a page with multiple clickable elements on the page, specifically:
- text links
- icon links
- buttons
What is the best practice for colorization?
And some additional prompts that I hope will elicit a more comprehensive answer:
- Should they (any permutation of the 3 forms) match in color or style?
- Should icon links adhere to any of the same best practices as text links?
