What is best practice for displaying a User’s metadata after they’ve logged in (in a web app)? [on hold]

I have a requirement to display the User's last logon info (time and place/ip) in a web app. Is there a general best practice for where this information should be displayed?

I'll also take any reasonable thought process on where the info should be as a response if there is no best practice.
