What aspects to cover when doing benchmarking for a specific feature

I'm doing some benchmarking for a travel apps flight search feature. For this i'm looking at the UX of the same feature in other travel apps. My experience in benchmarking is quite limited, i'm looking at what specific aspects should i be covering besides comparing how each app flight search experience is.
