User controls to use in our mobile device app?

I'm not sure if this follows guidelines, so please bear with me.

We have a wire-frame for our mobile device app, and now we need create the user interface for the iphone and android phones. I've attached the wireframe. It's a very simple and straightforward app.

We're not mobile power users, so we don't know what controls are popular now. We don't even know what designs are more frequently used.

For example, the app uses tabs, but we don't know what type of tabs are being used in iphone apps. I'm a Windows desktop user, so the tabs I usually see aren't the ones used in mobile device apps.

I remember that many years ago I downloaded a PSD file with a bunch of controls that were being used during that time. But now these look obsolete.
