Use of cards and tiles within the same mobile application

Can I use cards and tiles within the same application? There are two tabs: "Meetings" and "Activities". In "Meetings", all items will have the same elements, so I 'm using tiles. On the other hand, in the "Activities" tab, there will be different kind of activities that have different actions so I'm using cards; one of them would be meetings as well. So the same card form of meetings would be shown in the tiles format of the activities section.

Is there any research/examples to support the use of both cards and tiles as a good practise?
