Testing correct user-group, but with users within that group who may not use the product themselves?
I'm in a situation where the development team I'm on is creating a new tool for faculty to use in their classrooms. Even if not every faculty will use the tool themselves, is it still worth getting their feedback on the tool as a professor at the school? In other words, the faculty is the correct user-group I'm looking for, so I figured even if some I test wouldn't necessarily use the tool, getting feedback from them would still be beneficial.
Thoughts on this approach?
