Spatial conceptual model for complex data (mapping design microskills)
I am currently researching on ways to map the world of design micro-skills (ranging from illustration, to mobile prototyping and VR) and how these micro-skills relate to a particular "design job position" and major categories such as interaction design, UX design, user research.
The goal is to encourage users to explore and understand what are the general requirements and micro skills necessary to pursue a particular stream.
User stories: What is a UX designer vs. product designer? What micro-skills do they need to have? How do I know what I don't know?
I was wondering if there is any current conceptual model (2d or spatial) that tackles this complexity, even if only in the academic world?
