Should we have "s" in noun in domain?

I think this question is half between ux and webmaster but I'll prefer asking at ux

My question is:

In normal grammar we all know we should have plural noun if we don't define it as a singe, for example i have books and I have a book, but if we follow this rule we'll have some issue at naming domain.

As a website developer also a internet user which goes to website by urls instead of searching I found out it's really normal to forget a s in a domain, like you'll more likely to type dowork.com instead of doworks.com, this might changes by the way the noun it was placed but at the above example pattern it still gets a high possibility to mistype the s if you're not really master at grammar, but if you look at the point of view of grammar it doesn't makes sense for dowork since you didn't at a or the in front of work.

So should we add "s" behind the noun in a domain which has the patter V+N like doworks and writecodes, if you think at the position of a normal user that are typing the URL, NOT THE POSITION OF GRAMMAR?
