SF Symbol MapMarker

I am currently working on Designs for Location based Serivces within an iOS App. There will be a little Marker displayed on a map, actually it will be a little company logo. The Developer asked me to give him the Logo as SF Symbol/ Glyph. I read a lot about this yesterday and to me this doesnt make sense at all because I would have to design the Logo in all the relevant SF Symbol sizes.(28 all in all...)I would prefer to give him the Logo as .svg file. This is also vector based. What do you think?
