Setting Price Logic – Advice Needed

The default pricing should b "Auto" or "Automatic", but the user can choose to add a price manually, which then requires the dollar sign to appear on the left hand side of the price.

We are interested to skew the user towards choosing "auto", but do want the user to know the option to set and to update a manual price exists.
