Recommendations about Managing User Database (what and how)

by UXStackExchange on February 20, 2020 in uxstackexchange

I am trying to find the best tools or methods to manage a user database and being able to filter the data by user criteria for user research.

  • I am wondering what kind of tools or methods you are using to find the right users and manage a user database?
  • Are you using simple spreadsheets with filters (e.g. Google or Excel) and additional screeners that are sent out?
  • Or do you know of any existing tools that are not too sales-focussed and do a good job for UX recruitment and managing user information?
  • What issues do you still experience and what do you recommend to look out for?

I found a post here in 2018 but was wondering if there are new insights. Would appreciate any thoughts, ideas and comments.

Thank you very much in advance :-) .
