Recent books for English-language grammar constructions in UX design

My question is basically whether there are recent books/guides or other works that go into the basics of recommended English-language grammar constructions on user interfaces. I work for a company where the UI is developed in German and requires translation into English. Since I do not have very much experience in the UI/UX industry, I am curious to know whether there are recent works that technical writers in English in this regard rely on for support in the translation/editorial work for user interface creation and localization.

I have found the following links with interesting information concerning my question. However, in the case of the reference to the book on Amazon, "Language and Communication: Essential Concepts for User Interface and Documentation Design", I was wondering if there is anything more recent seeing that technology has obviously changed/evolved by light years since its publishing. In my case, I would very much like a book I could sink my teeth into.

What are the best guidelines for grammar and punctuation in alerts and user messages?
