Prototyping/motion designing for Angular?

Backstory: I'm currently working on prototyping my designs for the frontend team. For my previous projects, I had used Principle and AfterEffects. However, turning that into code is a hassle for the frontend team, especially when it comes to complex animations.

Question: What is a good way for designing and defining animations? The frontend team works with Angular. I'm willing to learn angular if it means it'll lead to a better/faster workflow. Also, is picking up Angular only for rapid prototyping a good idea?
