Mobile user onboarding

We have built a new mobile app which of course needs user onboarding/tutorials and we were not sure about the following (this is strictly about mobile apps not web apps): 1-is it better to create our own onboarding screens or use something like pendo that integrates into our app via sdk?

2-what other apps/vendors do that functionality for mobile apps other than pendo?
