Making colorPrimary and colorPrimaryDark the same. Good Or Bad idea?

I'm natively Android developer. Recently I'm trying a new thing that to make colorPrimary and colorPrimaryDark the same.

Does it act upon user impression somehow? I'm giving an example what it looks right now. Any other suggestions are given also would be appreciated.
