Communicating with (and Persuading) Engineers—A Learning Opportunity
We’re lucky to have some of the brightest, most cross-functional columnists writing for us here at UX Booth. One of our columnists, Jennifer Leigh Brown, shares with us today a talk she’ll be giving in April about how to market to engineers in an ever-changing world of customers.
She’s written about user experience deliverables. She’s written about designing dashboards, creating personas, and collaborating effectively with variegated teams. Given her experience across various expressions of user experience design, it should come as no surprise that UX Booth columnist Jennifer Leigh Brown is an expert at effective communication. Which is why she’s the perfect co-host for an upcoming day of sessions around the topic “Marketing to Engineers.”
The day-long event—co-hosted by the company Jennifer works for, Godfrey, and CFE Media—will take place April 3, 2017, in downtown Chicago, IL.
Here’s the description from the event page:
The structure will look a little something like this:
But learning from our awesome columnist isn’t the only thing you’ll get out of this event. Each registrant has a chance to enter into a drawing to win free research. The winner will receive two proprietary questions in CFE Media’s next “Marketing to Engineers” Research study. And runners up will win a customized Marketing to Engineers “Lunch and Learn” with the CFE Media team.
So if you’re in the Chicago area, or plan to be around April 3, 2017, check out the registration details on Eventbrite. And feel free to reach out to Jennifer on Twitter if you have any questions about her session!
