If we release a new version of mobile non MDM version , does MDM user gets an software update? [on hold]

We have an enterprise mobile application , its an hybrid one using cordova hooks and supports iOS and Android with MDM (MobileIron) and non-MDM options. The problem is non MDM version is ready to be released and some clients are desperate to use it. MobileIron one needs a bit of time.

If we release a non MDM version first

  • Can mobileiron client automatically get upgraded to this non mdm version( we are telling the mobileIron clients to turn off automatic updates )? if by mistake does not turn these auto updates off.
  • How do I prevent this from happening. Even if a mdm client gets the upgraded by mistake, what can we do to undo that?
