How to do a persona workshop

Currently, in my company, we don't have a written persona. I started with interviewing different kinds of existing users. I'm planning to share the Q&A from the interview with the stakeholders then I will run a workshop to create the persona together. Is that a good option? or should I create the persona ahead of time and approve it from them? or is there another way to create the persona?
