How do you define typography styles in your designs?

I'm really curious about how people name their typography styles in their design files.

Do you follow HTML standards, i.e. H1, H2, etc. or do you have your own set of naming convention?

If you do follow HTML standards, do you get any problems with applying those H styles sitewide? (my problem!!) For example, that on one page H1 is good, on another page, it needs modification to fit the page.

If you have your own custom set of rules, how do you implement it in HTML? Do you still use then H styles in HTML?
