How do I upload a GIF on Facebook that is the correct size and automatically plays from Facebook?

When I upload a GIF on Facebook, some people see the correct size, others need to click on it and see the GIF play from the site I uploaded it (like Giphy). How is it possible that there is difference in how people see a GIF on Facebook?
