How can automatic arrangement of icons on Android phones, better the User Experience? [on hold]

Background: This semester at University I am taking a course on Human-Computer Interaction where we are supposed to work on projects related to HCI.

Following is my rough idea for the project :

Motivation: We often save a lot of apps on our home screen, many times leading to a lot of confusion to spot the frequently used apps immediately, we spend around 2~3 swipes before we find the app itself.

Solution: An app which can monitor the app's usage frequency(no of times an app is used in a day/week/etc.) and arrange the apps on home screen in the order of usage frequency.

Question: What kind of problems a user may face in terms of UX?
