How are designers working with copywriters to communicate and manage word counts in layouts? [closed]
For our main website we're using Sitecore as our CMS. Using Figma we've created a design system with components that allow for each of the various types and forms of content to go on the site. The word counts are fairly locked down within a range because we are trying to take advantage of the scalability of components and templates.
Our current workflow between copywriting, and UI design is pretty clunky. We essentially have a series of writing guide documents in Word that clarify word counts for any given text element of each component. This is not optimal as it requires so much copying and pasting between Figma and Word and Sitecore that it wastes a lot of cycles for all involved.
I'm wondering what others are using to optimize the collaboration between copywriting, UI, and UX design?
