Fix Date Format in MS Word

I edit an MS Word document where i have to fix the date format within the document to make sure all the dates are there are in MM/DD/YYYY format. Many of them are usually posted as M/D/YY. Also, the dates listed all vary. I need to keep them as they are, not updated to reflect the current date.

Since this is a document that is edited multiple times before it's my turn to edit, I cannot set it up. What are my options?
