Figma Icon Drawing – Standalone Icon versus Icon Font? [closed]

So. Too often I have problems with other designers when discussing about the technique for icon drawing in Figma. Some designers prefer to use standalone icons and some designers prefer to use fonts.

When I think about it I see problems in both of these solutions but too often I am lazy enough to choose font instead of standalone icons.

I want to hear more people about this problem. Which option do you choose and why? How are you solving the problem of line heights, incorect pixels or decimal pixels in fonts?
