Is there a Pattern or Name for WordPress Backend Menu Appearance Options UI

I am fascinated by how easy Wordpress have made the creation of menus in the appearance settings on the backend. Expandable elements (for options) that are draggable for sorting and creating child elements. Is there a name on this? I was recently trying to explain the UI to a developer facing a problem on a custom solution but failed at expressing it.
