Color palette – finding balance when going for dark background theme

I'm trying to find the "perfect" color balance within one of my apps. I'm going for dark theme background color.

That's what we have so far:

  • Background color - #1F2129 (Has to be dark, but nothing specific)
  • Text color - White (Mandatory)
  • Theme/Primary color - #673AB7 (Has to be complementary and easy on the eyes, nothing specific)

According to this Contrast Checker this Color Palette is failing. I'm trying to find the right balance between those three, and make my CTA buttons standing out while keep on easy reading & scanning experience. What color scheme would you recommend?
