Category Labeling on B2B Dashboard

On a Project Management App - Dashboard page I have the content display as below:

Tabs Category Name: Projects | Assets | Forms

Drop-down Menu Sort,Filter: Status | By Month | Date Range

Boxes Data Widgets: Active Projects | Finished Projects | Other Projects

I wonder if Labeling for Boxes Data Widgets should Include the name of their Category for better usability (Projects/Active Projects)?

If yes, the name "Projects" from my example above, will have to be added to the options in the Drop-down Menu Sort,Filter as well. (Sort by Status/ By Active Projects/ By Finished Projects/ By Other Projects) Again, should I repeat the word "By"?

And at this point I feel like it will repeat too much. Any thoughts?!
