Can a hybrid app be as smooth as a native one? [on hold]

I've always tried to accept the idea that the differences of a hybrid app could become less and less perceptible compared to those of a native app.

But even after the emergence of this technology is still very easy to differentiate one type from another, which bothers me and makes me have some resistance in spending more time developing hybrid apps.

Today, what would be the technology that most reduces these differences between the two? Cordova? Ionic? Anything else?

Is there any source for research so I can better inform myself?
