Button position on bottom navigation

I'm working on the redesign of an app with bottom bar. Currently the main screen is in the middle of the bottom bar, the application is a few years old and already has a solid user base.

Many large applications that use the bottom bar keep the main screen button as the first bottom item. Always on the left total.

My question is if in this redesign, even being an application that always had the main screen on the middle button of the bottom and the users are used/familiar to it. Where I choose to put it as the first item, in total left??

Does the detail of the first item in the bottom always be the home screen really makes a difference?
