Best practice to show helpful recommendation to users

We are building an insight section where user gets all his critical status of his activities. It includes a recommendation section. Recommendation is basically few action items where user can go and do the fixing. These sections has to be user freindly. Is there any good pattern to represent this rather than showing it in full text format?
