Are There Any Recent Studies Comparing The Legibility Or Readabiltiy Of Fonts On Screen

Are there any recent studies that have tried to objectively compare the legibility of typefaces on screen using modern screens (including hi-dpi screens)?

Note: I'm not interested in opinion on what constitutes a legible or readable font, only in data.
